The deposit address changes when I copy it — why does this happen?

If the deposit address changes when you copy it, this is often caused by malware or a virus on your device. Some malicious programs can detect cryptocurrency addresses and automatically replace them with the attacker’s address.

To protect your funds:

  • Run a full antivirus scan on your device.
  • Always check the first and last characters of the address after pasting it to ensure it matches the one shown in your FaucetPay deposit section.
  • Do not send funds if the copied address does not match exactly.

Taking these precautions helps prevent your deposits from being sent to the wrong address due to malicious software.
