What is 2FA and how do I enable it in my account?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure that helps protect your FaucetPay account from unauthorized access — even if someone obtains your password.

When enabled, every login attempt will require a time-sensitive 6-digit code generated by an authentication app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) on your mobile device.

To enable 2FA on your account:

1. Log into your FaucetPay account and open the Account Settings page.
2. In the Two-Factor Authentication section, copy and securely store your 2FA Key — this key is the only way to recover your 2FA if you ever lose access to your phone.
3. Scan the QR code or manually enter your 2FA Key into your authenticator app.
4. Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app into FaucetPay.
5. Click “Enable 2FA” to complete the process.
   

Once activated, you’ll need your 2FA code each time you log in. Keep your recovery key in a safe place — FaucetPay does not store your personal 2FA key and cannot restore it if lost.
