Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure that helps protect your FaucetPay account from unauthorized access — even if someone obtains your password.
When enabled, every login attempt will require a time-sensitive 6-digit code generated by an authentication app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) on your mobile device.
To enable 2FA on your account:
- Log into your FaucetPay account and open the Account Settings page.
- In the Two-Factor Authentication section, copy and securely store your 2FA Key — this key is the only way to recover your 2FA if you ever lose access to your phone.
- Scan the QR code or manually enter your 2FA Key into your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app into FaucetPay.
- Click “Enable 2FA” to complete the process.
Once activated, you’ll need your 2FA code each time you log in. Keep your recovery key in a safe place — FaucetPay does not store your personal 2FA key and cannot restore it if lost.
